U.S. stocks ended mixed due to divided earnings results and a dropped in consumer confidence data. Dow Jones rose 0.12%, S&P 500 lost 0.10% and Nasdaq dropped 0.36%.
EON Capital will hold EGM on 19 August 2010 for shareholders to vote on Hong Leong Bank's offer of RM5.06bil. AmResearch maintained the fair value of EON Capital at RM7.30 and forecast the takeover offer to go through.
TANJONG-CA is suspended for trading following the suspension of the underlying share pending an announcement.
