U.S. stocks slide after Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke said U.S. economic outlook is unusually uncertain. Dow Jones dropped 1.07%, S&P 500 fell 1.28% and Nasdaq 1.58%.
Morgan Stanley posted second quarter profit of US$1.58bil that beat analysts' estimates.
