Asian stocks rose as Chinese central bank commented that the China's economy is fundamentally good, boosting investor confidence. Nikkei jumped 2.70%, HSI rose 0.56%, STI rose 0.20%. FBM KLCI added 2.96 points to 1,355.19.
AirAsia passenger traffic increased 10.6% in the second quarter compared to previous year. All the structured warrants on the counter, i.e. AIRASIA-CF, AIRASIA-CG, AIRASIA-CH and AIRASIA-JA, jumped as the underlying increased.
Kossan and Supermax have been rated "buy" by Citigroup with target price of RM4.95 and RM7.40 respectively. Call warrants on Supermax are SUPERMX-CA, SUPERMX-CB and SUPERMX-CC.
